This is an irrational, cruel, misguided, ignorant statement made by Will Smith. I don't care how good his movies are, how well he did at making his money and guiding his career, someone needs to pay attention to this and expect him to explain EXACTLY what he meant. Hitler was and remains the largest mass murderer in history. There is no excuse, no way to forget in our hearts or our bruised souls for this man's actions. And there is simply no reason for Smith to defend him on any front for any action. Forgiveness has to be left up to each individual. And, by the way, yeah, his mother was a prostitute and his father was unknown to him. Not enough hugs? Wrong toys? Even on the best days, that is simply not a funny statement. This was a wicked, evil man who did his best to create a "pure" race. And, yes, to continue to answer what you did not print here, Hitler DID wake up every morning trying to figure out a way to make it happen. Saddest of all, he nearly succeeded...
