Jamie Lynn Spears pregnant at 16

The teenage sister of Britney Spears and star of the Nickelodeon hit show “Zoey 101″ has confirmed that she is pregnant! The fourth season of her show has just wrapped up and with her pending new addition there is no word on her return to the show.

We respect Jamie Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn’s well being,” the network said.

The father is reported to be Casey Aldridge, 19, who met Jamie in church. Also the two are rumored to be living together – good move! Doesn’t the church teach anything about the whole waiting until you re married thing anymore? Didn’t the mother just write a book about parenting? maybe we should wait for the second edition before picking that one up. The epilogue will be quite interesting I bet.
