You might know Hayden Panettiere for her work to save the whales in Japan, but she also helps kids back home. Hayden was on hand yesterday for the culmination of th 6th Annual World Children’s Day. Hayden was looking fantastic in a yell top, a McDonald’s apron, and a smile from ear to ear. Take time to check out the charity if you are looking to follow Hayden’s example.
2007 marks the 6th year for World Children’s Day™ at McDonald’s®, an annual global fundraiser for children celebrated in more than 100 countries. Funds raised benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) and local children’s causes in communities around the world. Last year, thanks to World Children’s Day, more than $27 million was raised to support RMHC and other children’s charities. Since the program’s inception in 2002, World Children’s Day efforts have raised over $100 million.
