In what can only be described as one of the dumbest moves since the Michael Vick dog fighting scandal - well that really wasn’t that long ago was it? - rapper TI was arrested on some serious gun charges.  No the one time convicted felon turned hip hop star is sitting in jail after being denied bail.

In addition to the guns that T.I., 27, allegedly tried to purchase through an intermediary and collect on Saturday — which, given his status as a convicted felon, he is not allowed to do — police found a number of additional weapons at his Atlanta-area home during a search, including some in a walk-in safe that required fingerprint access, according to the affidavit provided by authorities.

At what point do you sit back and say that buying an arsenal of machine guns and silencers really isn’t necessary?  How much money and fame does it take  to make you feel like you accomplished something?  Is he trying to keep up an image of a tough guy?  Is someone really out to get him?  You want to avoid the possibility of getting shot or having to shoot people you can just avoid the places where you feel unsafe.  Have fun in jail tough guy!
