Caitlin Upton shows off her reading skills to the VMA audience

With all the talk about Britney’s performance, Kid Rock and Tommy Lee fighting, Kanye West complaining about not winning any awards again, Sarah Silverman’s evil opening monologue, no one has paid any attention to Miss South Carolina’s performance on Sunday evening. Caitlin Upton, made famous a few weeks ago after her bumbling response to a question during the Miss Teen USA pageant, had a brief spot at the VMAs. Caitlin had to read from a teleprompter and inform the fans at home about some awards and more info about the show. You think maybe she could have rehearsed that a bit before going live?
