Steve Carell ruled the box office with his biblical family comedy this week.  The film took in less than half the opening box office of "Bruce Almighty", but still was enough to easily take the #1 spot.  The spot should be short lived as the new Die hard film will open Wednesday.  Studios hope to see "Evan" have a long stay on screens and become a solid earner.  Rounding out the top there was "1408" and "Fantastic Four".

The one million dollar price tag that Paris was looking for to grant an exclusive post prison interview didn't exactly work out.  Instead the jailbird will do a one hour exclusive with the oldest man on cable - Larry King.

A CNN spokeswoman said King would interview Hilton in a one-hour special on Wednesday, just 24 hours after the hotel heiress and reality television star is released from prison in Los Angeles. The network and a spokesman for Hilton said the 26-year-old would not receive payment for the interview. News of the interview comes amid a series of conflicting reports about behind-the-scenes manoeuvrings to secure the Hilton scoop amongst the major US domestic broadcasters.

I love how that million dollars turned into nothing so quickly.  Think they realized that a 20 some odd days in jail for a suspended license isn't the definition of must see television.  There have been some rumors that she will have a throw down with Sarah Silverman over her MTV Movie Award jokes, but most likely she will try to seduce Larry King before going to the clubs to drink her ass off!

Eddie spent months denying reports that he had father Mel B's baby girl and the former Spice Girl never wavered. Well the results of Eddie's DNA test has come in and there will be no search for the real father because he is the father.

Scary Spice's people say the results are in and Eddie Murphy's the daddy. Melanie Brown's representative tells People magazine DNA tests confirm that Murphy is the father of Brown's two-month-old daughter.

Eddie was so sure about not being the dad you just have to believe he is kicking himself now for looking like a jackass in the press. It will be nice when the child grows up and can look back at the wonderful stories about her dad bad mouthing her mom and claiming she wasn't his. This should also play out nicely when it comes to child support - I would use everything he said to get paid! Take it to him Mel!

Paris Hilton will be able to breath free air again, make naughty videos with dirty men, and once again become a respectable member of young Hollywood on Tuesday, June 26!  She may be getting out of jail, but it appears no one really wants to talk to her about it for money as networks keep saying now to an exclusive.

"As a result of numerous inquiries, it has come to our attention that clarification is necessary regarding the actual release date of Paris Hilton," Camarillo said. "In the case of Ms. Hilton, records specialists from the Inmate Reception Center have calculated her actual release date to be Tuesday, June 26, 2007," Camarillo added.

It's nice that she will get to enjoy the last few days of June before the big 4th of July parties go own. No better time to make your appearance back onto the party scene then the holidays.  However, her foray back into television is not working as smoothly as she thought.

 After NBC denied reports of agreeing to pay $1 million to the Hiltons for a post jail interview Thursday, the Hiltons wanting to secure a deal went back to ABC with the offer which the network LAtimes.com reports, in the hours following NBC’s announcement saying their news division had no commitment from Hilton and does not pay for interviews the Heiress and her family.

If you can't make a million dollars for an interview about 20 days in jail for violating the terms of your parole I just don't know what this world is coming to.  I mean last week I secured a 6 figure deal with Katie Kuric about my 3 hours stuck on I95 in rush hour traffic - i don't think this will do much for her ratings though.

Isaiah Washington has gone from angry to reflective to blaming other people for being let go from "Grey's Anatomy".  Washington is pointing blame at former cast mate T.R. Knight and saying that he has to take steps to clear his good name.

"They fired the wrong guy," the 43-year-old actor said in an interview with the Houston Chronicle. He blames former cast mate T.R. Knight for stoking the scandal that led him to lose his role in the ABC hit. Knight is the one who should have been let go, he told the newspaper. "I have to clear my name," said Washington. "I'll start from the beginning. I'm telling everything. So here's the truth."

Think losing out on millions of dollars from new episodes, syndication, DVD sales, movie opportunities, and possible spin offs might have something to do with Isaiah being a tad peeved?  You know what he should have done?  He shouldn't have made homophobic slurs towards a cast mate before he had a guaranteed contract in place with a no termination clause built in.  Sure he could have just not said hat he did, but what fun would that be?  Who wants to read Isaiah Washington is just a sweetheart nd everyone loves him?  No one does I tell you  - NO ONE!

Voldemort attacked trough the imperius curse and Hermione, to protect the life of Ron fight hardly for more than 6 pages and then finally die. (boring, very boring... it's always the same story!) Then, to make a long story short, Harry came up, killed all the bad guys and Hogwarts against became a good place to stay and have fun. The rumors of a pending pregnancyfor platinum blonde singer Christina Aguilera are getting a bit more real.  Word is the singer is already three month along.

"She's been telling friends, she has to be three months now, because she's announcing it, New York Post quoted a source, as saying.....The 'Dirty' singer also looked to be donning a small bump while shopping in Soho.

Who would have though just a few years ago that Christina would be in the most stable marriage of all the teen queens of the 90's?  The two "virgins" until marriage, Britney and Jessica, have both already been part of failed marriages and romances.  Aguilera never made a comment about being pure and she sure as hell didn't sing about anything you would want your teenage daughter doing.  If the story is true we wish the couple the best of luck with their new addition.
