The blonde bombshell is once again back on the market after it was revealed that John Mayer ended their relationship a week ago.  Poor Jessica can’t get a break lately can she?

“They have broken up,” says the source. “But they have broken up and gotten back together at least 10 times before.”

According to the source, the pair are in constant contact – even as Simpson promotes her film Major Movie Star at the Cannes Film Festival in France. “They talk to each other at least six times a day. I don’t know if this breakup is permanent, but for right now they are broken up.”

In fact, the pair have “been emailing and talking to each other,” since Simpson went to Cannes, says a Simpson friend. “I’m sure they’ll get back together.”

I don’t know who will want to date Jessica now.  Her sister Ashlee is suddenly hotter, she didn’t crack the top 40 on the Maxim 100 list, and Nick is moving full steam ahead with his lady.  The best thing for Jessica to do now is pose topless in a tasteful way on her website and thank her fans for being so wonderful during this difficult time.  I don’t know where these ideas come from.  I think I just have a gift that I must share with the world!
