In an uneventful night for the guys where no one was all that impressive one performer really stood out - Blake Lewis.  Lewis has been the most aggressive performer with his song choices and performances.  Tonight Blake picked 311s “All Mixed Up” and not one of the judges had ever heard the song.  Now 311 has been around for quite some time so that showed that Blake is willing to push the envelope.  Sundance pulled a Pearl Jam song out, but he didn’t have the vocals to pull it off.  It doesn’t matter who gets eliminated Thursday since the only one of the guys with a shot at the final there is Blake.  Tomorrow the women show them men how it’s done.
