Geico Cavemen to get own show?

March 6, 2007

Cavemen are the thing in commercial television.  The new pitchmen for Geico insurance have such a following they might even get their own sitcom.

The potential series, one of 14 pilots that will be produced by Touchstone Television this spring, features the cavemen as they “struggle with prejudice on a daily basis as they strive to live the lives of normal thirty-somethings in 2007 Atlanta.”

This show cant’t be any worse than some of the garbage the networks have been putting out the last few years.   The commercials are funny and I don’t even fast forward through them n my Tivo.   If the series is a success other possible commercial characters that might get some looks will be the Aflac duck, the Taco Bell dog will make a comeback, and the Burger King.
