Well I am glad toto that you recognise how good looking he is. But short on talent? I think not. Great voice, good songwriter, fantastic musician, love that dancing. What more can I ask?
Well, I could ask to hear that new single, but not much longer to wait. And the cd drops Feb 10.
Taylor fans are alive and well and supporting him every day. Who cares if he sells in the millions. All cd sells are suffering and Taylors working hard and doing well. We love him.

he can never be a mistake because america voted for him… but was he the best singer? arguably not. did he have the most superstar look? hardly. but was he a mistake? i don’t think so…

Taylors doing just fine.
And your numbers on cd sales are wrong.
Why is this dumb article still here anyway. I got a large laugh out of the Soul Patrol not caring. Who else has a fan base that has BBQ ribs and beer delivered to their dressing room.
One on the hottest men around and I know a few dancers in New York that would agree with me.

Why is Simon Cowell still slamming Taylor Hicks two years after he won? It’s too weird.

I voted for Taylor, I bought his CDs & I’ve had the intense experience seeing him live twice. The man is an amazing performer, an intense singer.

Chris’ Cd did good,but I can’t watch a complete single performance of his.

Why does Simon Cowell keep bashing Taylor Hicks? Anyone else think this is odd?

Taylor Hicks blew me away on American Idol Season 5, but, Taylor Hicks stole my heart and soul when I saw him live in concert. He is so much better looking now and in person…that no one would understand without this experience. His soulful voice brings one to tears. His whole being is into the music…and it shows. He will continue to gain popularity even though he is honored and cherished by millions. The millions of people that understand why Chris Daughtry did not win. I saw Daughtry at an AI concert and could not believe my eyes and ears…he is a shrimp, ugly, frowns, is rude, screams, and now that he follows or opens for other bands because he can not fill a concert hall…he stands on a small platform to make his own self image seem larger…NO HOPE FOR THAT! Can you imagine, standing on a soap box? Taylor outshined, outsang, outclassed any idol to date. He will be a legend.

Believe me when I tell you the SOUL PATROL is alive and well and still loving Taylor Hicks. As far as Taylor’s looks, ummmm I just don’t have the words because he is so handsome. What I can tell you , while attending the ALABAMA HALL OF FAME music awards last weekend, as Taylor walked the Red Carpet, I heard a MAN say, ” OMG, he really does look like Elvis!” That should give you a good idea about Taylor’s looks. Taylor was there to receive AMHOF Music Award and entertain at the star studded , black tie event.

Since you wrote this article a lot of things have been brought to our attention that shows that Taylor has NOT been forgotten by the American Public or The Soul Patrol. He is well, thriving and working very, very hard. Taylor has suffered greatly from the disgusting treatment and non promotion AI refused to give him.
The only reason Chris Daughtry has suceeded is through massive pimping, fraudulent cd sales numbers, Radio Payola ( money or gift incentives to hundreds of Radio Stations ) ensuring he has been shoved down every ones throats 24/7. During Season 5 The Powers behind AI wanted Daughtry to win. Sadly they cannot fix the voting and they were horrified when their fave got voted off in 4th place. They couldn’t stop Taylor Hicks from winning so they did the only thing they could do to punish him for usurping Daughtry, they didn’t give him any promotion at all. No single released until 7 months after cd came out. DJ’s were banned from playing him on the radio. They made no DVD’s and they constantly slammed or disrespected him in public. Stores were not bribed to display his cd and not encouraged to re-stock even though people were asking for his cd. The Powers That Be can break you if they so wish and for reasons best known to themselves that’s what they have been trying to do to Taylor. However he is a wonderful and kind Southern Gentleman who has never spoken about this in public.

There CAN never be another Taylor Hicks. The Soul Patrol is still in force, still loving him. Selling CDs is slightly overrated these days. The same ones over and over dominate the charts, if the label pays, the person gets played. That’s it in a nutshell; Taylor did really well selling around 700,000 US & total Worldwide sales of approx 840,000. This is very good – would love to stay and write more but I’m really tired after traveling to see Taylor receive his Alabama Music Award (tons of Soul Patrol there)!

We the soulpatrol do not know what happen with AI and Taylor but we do know that this is one of the most talented they have ever had on AI. If you ever seen him live in concert you would know what we are talking about. The cd sales would have been more if you could find them. You can’t sale what is not out there.
