Jessica Simpson does some good

Posted on February 24th, 2007

With all the talk about celebrities behaving badly it’s nice to see that there is some good being done out there.  This time Jessica Simpson is getting some press for helping out an orphanage.

Jessica Simpson has donated a van to a Mexican orphanage. The actress-and-singer gave the vehicle, which can seat eight people, to the Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, which she visited in 1999.

This is a commendable move by Jessica and hopefully she doesn’t follow it up but shaving her head or having a naughty tape leaked to the press.  Now Jessica might not by the sharpest knife in the drawer, but she does seem like a sweet girl that does her best.  I also would like to point out there are plenty of places in America that could use a van or some money so all you celebs feel free to look closer to home also.

Jessica donated a Town&Country, but thought she
was actually donating a town to the country – either way nice.
