Ashlee Simpson loses dream acting role

A chance to act opposite Meryl Streep was not enough to get Ashlee Simpson out of the recording studio.  That choice probably cost her an opportunity of a lifetime.

Pop star ASHLEE SIMPSON has lost her dream job as MERYL STREEP’s on-screen daughter because of her hectic recording schedule.
The singer was hoping to land a part opposite Streep in the movie adaptation of hit ABBA musical MAMMA MIA!, but had to abandon plans because she is “too busy”.

I am not sure if you heard Ashlee sing, but I think she should have taken he acting job.  Of course her plastic surgery could have fixed her acid reflux disorder that forced her SNL debacle.  Are people lining up to pick up the new Ashlee Simpson CD and that is why she has to focus on recoding her new pop classics?
