PETA makes fun of eating disorders

November 29, 2006

Nicole Richie and Ashley Olsen are feeling the wrath of PETA and their worst dressed list. Not only are they being called bad dressers they are also being made fun of for their thin frame.

“This pelt-wearing party girl is all animal skin and bones,” notes the animal rights group. “She’s an incredible shrinking woman with the heart to match.”

Ashley Olsen is the runner-up. “Wearing fur does add 20 pounds,” PETA says, “but if Ashley wants to fill out her frame, we suggest using a fork instead.”

I am all for an organization having a cause and standing up for their beliefs, but do two wrongs make a right? Is there a reason why PETA has to insult a serious medical condition to prove a point? What if a celebrity in a wheelchair happened to sport some fut would they make a comment about getting up and walking? Maybe if PETA didn’t have sexy playmates sport around naked it would help to improve the self image of some people and solve eating disorders thus leading less of a need for warm fur!

I completely agree with you here, eating disorders shouldn’t be joked about. If PETA want to make a point, they should try and show they as animal rights activists are compassionate, kind people, not verbally attack people.

I can’t stand peta, they are suck dicks. Now don’t get me wrong I love animals but give me a break. I seriously would love it if they would just stop talking all they do is infuriate people. Thats great fight for your cause but try to do it with a little tact and maybe they should show some compassion to the human race, animals aren’t the end all be all.

It would be a serious medical condition, but were talking about celebrities. I doubt any of that nonsense is true.
