David Blaine spinning over Times Square

David Blaine has a new stunt to help increase foot traffic in Times Square during the holiday weekend.

The 33-year-old magician stepped inside a gyroscope Tuesday in Times Square. His hands and feet will be shackled to the spinning scope Thursday afternoon. He will then have until Friday morning _ a total of 16 hours _ to make his escape.

This stunt is actually for charity and 100 children will receive a modest shopping spree at Traget if he escapes.  If you are in Times Square look up and see the spinning odd ball.
