Neil Patrick Harris is back in the public spotlight with a hit show on CBS and that has apparently stirred interest in his personal life.  In order to stop any rumors or speculation Harris has come forward and admitted that he is gay.

So, rather than ignore those who choose to publish their opinions without actually talking to me, I am happy to dispel any rumors or misconceptions and am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest and feel most fortunate to be working with wonderful people in the business I love

What’s going on here lately in the entertainment world?  Do announcements of gayness come in threes?  Lance Bass, that George guy from Grey’s Anatomy, and now Barney!  I say good for Doogie if he is happy and enjoying life.  Anyone taking bets on who will be the next celebrity to come out of the closet on the cover of People??
