While Britney proves the critics wrong every other couple in the world is divorcing.  This time Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker, has allowed the MTV curse to sabotage his marriage to Shanna Moakler.

Superior Court documents say Barker is seeking joint custody of the couple’s two children: 2-year-old Landon Barker and 8-month-old Alabama Barker. Moakler has a 7-year-old daughter, Atiana, with boxer Oscar De La Hoya. The former Miss USA says through her publicist, “My only concern right now is for the welfare and best interests of my children.”

They will still be married at the two year mark of their marriage, but sine the divorce is filed it just doesn’t count.  I don’t know what it will take for these people to see that MTV is just a deadly place to have a show.  You either end up divorced, broken up, addicted to drugs, or you end up going over to VH1 and appear on the Surreal Life.
