Last night was the taping of the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show – which is can’t miss television if you ask any man.  Fergie was helping to heat up the runway as she performed with the Black Eyed Peas as scantly clad models walked around.  I guess if you have to compete against Heidi Klum, Miranda Kerr, Marisa Miller, and the rest of the Angels you have to get a bit over sexified.  The show will air December 1 on CBS.

For years Oprah Winfrey has been a stable part of the lives of many women at 4PM.  She has directed people on what to read, what to buy, who to vote for, and what their poop should look like.  However, even her run as the Queen of daytime television has to come to and end.  Oprah has declared she will leave her show on September 9, 2011.  Expect a massive blitz of specials dedicated to the talk show hos and cultural icon.  Without her doing her Favorite Things episodes how will people know what to buy and how will small unknown writers become millionaires?

Leighton Meester really has a thing going for black sexy leather outfits.  Her new spread in GQ has her looking incredible in a little leather number and last night she was just as sexy for the preview party of the new American Eagle Flagship store in Times Square.  These Gossip Girl ladies have been really delivering the good on the red carpet lately – Blake Lively looked amazing the other day in white.

Twilight mania in full swing and there is no stopping it!  At the Los Angles premiere the fans went crazy as Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene and the rest of the cast post for pictures before heading into the so so reviewed sequel.

Ken Ober, the former host of the MTV quiz show Remote Control, was found dead at his Los Angeles home.  No cause of death was given for the host turned producer.  The MTV show helped to jump start the careers of Adam Sandler, Colin Quin, and Denis Leary.  If you are my age you remember this show and that it was MTVs first real attempt to do something outside of music videos – who thought that would last?  Ober had gone on to work behind the camera on Mind of Mencia and New Adventures of Old Christine.
